Kedarnath Ji Yatra
Tour Highlights
The Kedarnath shrine, one of the twelve jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva, is nestled amidst the breathtaking Kedarnath range. Kedar, synonymous with Lord Shiva, adds to the spiritual significance of this serene location. Legend has it that after emerging victorious in the Kurukshetra war against the Kauravas, the Pandavas were burdened with remorse for having fought against their own kin. Seeking absolution, they pursued Lord Shiva, who, in an attempt to evade them, transformed into a bull and took shelter at Kedarnath. Despite their persistent pursuit, Lord Shiva disappeared into the earth, leaving behind his hump as a divine symbol.

Kedarnath and Adi Kailash are distinct destinations, yet both hold significance as Shiva’s own dham. Kedarnath is nestled in the Indian Himalayas.
AMS, or Acute Mountain Sickness, occurs due to sudden exposure to reduced air pressure and lower oxygen levels at high altitudes. Common symptoms include headaches, fatigue, nausea, loss of appetite, insomnia, and heavy breathing. Descending to lower altitudes and inhaling oxygen can help alleviate symptoms more quickly. This is why we recommend spending at least two days in Leh to allow for acclimatization.
Because of heavy snowfall, the administration closes the inner line permit process during winter.
There is 19 Km One way trek to Kedarnath Ji.
