Adi Kailash Yatra From Tanakpur

Tour Highlights

Adi Kailash, revered as the sacred home of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati, holds great importance in Hindu mythology as one of the Panch Kailash. Along with Om Parvat, it is considered a deeply holy site in Hinduism, believed to bring inner enlightenment and purification simply by being seen. The peaceful and serene environment here is said to be filled with cosmic energy that has transformative powers.

According to legend, the demon king Ravana received blessings from Lord Shiva at Adi Kailash, gaining extraordinary strength and wisdom. Of the eight mountains that bear the sacred OM symbol, only one—Om Parvat, also known as Adi Kailash—has been revealed to humanity. Standing at an impressive height of 6,191 meters in the Dharchula district, Adi Kailash is famous for its spiritual significance and adventurous appeal. Its unique feature is the natural formation of an Om symbol with snow on the black mountain, making it a stunning marvel of nature.
